GB sticker - COMPULSORY (if european union flag not on number plate)

headlamp convertors - COMPULSORY

radar detectors - FORBIDDEN

daytime headlamps(side lights) - RECOMMENDED

Just set your beam adjusters to there lowerst height setting and this

will be ok for a day trip [Y]  In the three years i did driving

over in Europe i never once had any issues with my van and i never had

beam adjusters !!!!!!

They dont check you any more

Can I make a suggestion that everyone going on the trip posts up their mobile numbers if you don't want to post on here then we can exchange on the train on way over just incase we get split up while driving - it's bound to happen lights change etc etc (I know hopefully we are going to use the two way radios but best to have a failsafe!)

Looking at a leisurely drive down with time to spare

I'm thinking we leave nottcutts at 06:30  - so 06:15 meet??? get Folkestone at around 7/7:15 booked in buy a coffee and some union jack shorts.

Trevor, that satnav might be useful although I gotta map and its really only one road to Arras.

Yogibear, I spoke to Gary Moulson about a green card and was assured it wasn't necessary provided I take my insurance certificate.
