fai17 Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 Thats very good value[Y] .......until you see the surface you are using to track round Is it rough???
the squiggle Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 It will give your suspension a good test trying to avoid the potholes Thats unless Crail have resurfaced the same as Knockers since the last time i was on track up there
Fee Posted June 15, 2006 Author Posted June 15, 2006 It wasnt bad last time we were up there....they had marked out the track so that there were no potholes.... impreza managed fine will have vids of the track somewhere.....
Fee Posted June 16, 2006 Author Posted June 16, 2006 Front suspension took us one evening to remove and took Adam a couple of hours to replace Rear beam.....maybe a night to take off and a night to put back on (depending on how rusty the one you have on is! The locking nuts can be a right bugger!)
Adam Kindness Posted June 16, 2006 Posted June 16, 2006 It took time to get the rear beam off, just becuase everything was seized and corroded. Essentially its just 6 bolts though... (if you dont need to swap rear struts over) Whip off the rear brake lines, jack under the beam to hold it. Undo the 6 bolts in the rear of the car (in car) then drop the jack slowly. Fee: Wheres the link to the guides on 205drivers Front is ok... took a bit more time on ours as we had to come up with a solution about the ARB drop links etc Do you have spring compressors?
