tony_cousins Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 Go for the Tom Tom mate [Y] Easy to use, brilliant small package with touch screen and full of features, would not be without one [] Tony
granby Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 Yep i agree, if you want a no frills sat nav then go for tom tom one, www.ebuyer.com have then for about £220 i think
tony_cousins Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 I have the original tom tom which does not have the update plug in the back of it, the base model does not allow you to go to the internet site and upgrade the data on it but it does work just fine as it is Tony
mick_weatherill Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 Just to put a spanner in the works ive got the navman 510 im a lorry driver and do about 250 to 300 miles a day .I would struggle to find some of the places i go to without this sat nav .And you can download the latest maps, speedcams, etc and at the slightly cheaper end of the satnav scale .I recommend this one .[8-|]
