Recommend a spray painter in Central??

Hi all

I have a dent removal specialist comin on saturday to fix the large scratch on my passenger wing...also sorting the stone chips on the bonnet for me for nought!!

I have a large stone chip on my roof at front, but has started to bubble since the winter, and to late to get dent guy to rescue.  Service History shows that Subaru had already painted roof under the body warranty.  However, did not do agreat job, as they must have taken the back window out and looks like they scored the paint putting the rubber back in...so slight bubbling at the rear.

I had a tube hit my rear end on the motorway in feb, only needed bumper respray, but had to pay my £400 excess at the time.  Got cheque in today so I thought I had better get the roof done before it gets any worse!

Can anyone recommend a good, and reasonable priced spraypainter, preferably in our around Falkirk, or Stirling?

Dont want to take a chance without knowing they will do a good job eh!

I would be keen to here any feedback to this to as I have a wee bubble coming through on my roof too. I did get the front of my car re-sprayed last month at Ian Grieve's in Stirling. I was happy with the work done after the second attemp but it was quite costly. Bonnet, bumper, splitter and blend into wings was £810 and that was without taking the bumper off which they done the second time after a bit of complaining. Was F.O.C. though, so the bumpers got a nice think layer of paint on it just now.

If you want a first class professional job, but not cheap go to cram of kennet near clackmannan, billy the owner carries out work for all the major insurance companies. I have used billy in the past for body kit fitting and painting comes highly recommended but as I said not cheap.

Dave, theres a guy in Paisley down behind Kwik-fit next to Hendry Grahams old place (Sort of under the arches). Painted a van for me once did a good job and was very reasonable but it was just white paint though!!

Cheers for the replies all...I will contact all, as I will price them off against each other, they all want your business after all!

Out of interst, does anyone know of the guy in Winchester Industrial Estate in Denny.  I was recommended him, but had never even knew he existed!

I would second the vote from Krams of Kennet, did work on both my scoobs and was excelent. Dont know about price wise as I cant remember the costs but cant of been that bad because he got the work.

I've got my car in CARS in camps ind estate, east calder, should be getting it back tomorrow.

Seen some of his work and quite impressed and the price was good as well.

Paint - front Bumper and sort mounting brackets, Rear Bumper and sort mountings, paint both sides, bonnet vents and colour code door handles.  £750!

I'll post pics and feedback once I get it.

A third vote for Krams. Quality of work is outstanding. Had work done there myself and my sister had her old car sprayed there and you would be hard pushed to tell it aint a factory finish. Customer service is spot on too.

Just back from CARS and well chuffed, the car looks fantastic and the end result is very impressive.

Big thumbs up from me [;)]

Would post a couple of photos but it's now started chucking it down here [:'(]
