I have a P plate 1.8 Mondeo for winter and carrying crap. Great fun driving a car you dont care about. You dont park it, you abandon it. Only get about 35 mpg at best though, which is not really that great.

On another note just had my old neighbour round just now.And he's got CDX 2.5 V6 Vectra with fsh one owner from leather climate control 181.000 miles for 850 quid.

If that ain't a second car candidate then i don't what.

My impreza is my second car. Really only drive it for back road blasts and track days.

Used to have a my04wrx, was too sore on fuel for 30k/ year. Replaced it with a classic JDM WRX and a BMW 320coupe msport. 40+ mpg makes a nice change. Miss the power though, it does handle pretty well though.
