STi_Bandit Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 just had a bird do its buisness over the car grrrrr, so used the old method of hot water and sponge to get it off, but with the paint work beeing so soft on the subarus ive scratched the blinking paint work ahhhh, was wondering if there was another way to remove bird poooo from the car that wont damage the paintwork Martin
TSL 333 Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 alright bud, i usually use my halfords power wash - it is powerful as feck!!!- in fact i wish i could hit the damm birds with it!!!
chris_c201 Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 Lukewarm wet cloth left sitting over it for 5 mins, then jus remove cloth and wipe!!
paul_young2 Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 agree with soaking it first rather than scrubbing it straight away. A RIFLE helps as well !! [6]
STi_Bandit Posted May 3, 2006 Author Posted May 3, 2006 yeah i think thats how ive scratched it scrubbing away after just runing water over it, iam sure it will polish out just always annoying when you find a new scratch on the car, cheers for the advice guys [] martin
p1ggm Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 agree with chris, leave a damp cloth/sponge on it for a while, and keep soaking it
