Solmaster555 Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 Hi All, Does anyone out there know how to get hold of a new set of P1 springs and dampers. Trying to uprate the standard suspension since the car's had the Andy F remap, decat system and bigger turbo. Advice on uprating the brakes would also be appreciated as it's still on standard. Cheers
scott_coull Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 Have you tried your local dealer mate? Parts numbers Front left 20311FA960 Front right 20311FA950 Rear left 20360FA960 Rear right 20360FA950 Have you thought about going for godspeed brake upgrade or even Brembos from an Sti? Depends on your budget what to go for, try http://www.godspeedbrakes.co.uk/ and have a look, AWD motorsport are doing Brembo upgrade for £1200 incl vat and fitting for front Brembos at the moment. Brembos will be my next upgrade as standard 4 pots just don't stop it quick enough for me. Cheers Coulster
fai17 Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 I think Greeersport(01505683388) has a set of Newage Brembo Calliper,Disc and Pads that will bolt straight on to your car. Ask Col666 as he has the Brembo on his car too.
frank c Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 Was also thinking along the same lines (P1 susp) but found these parts quite hard to come by..for the right money anyway. Is there any other set-up i should be considering for my 99 uk turbo..Have already fitted F&R D/links and ALK with the rear ARB to be the next thing fitted. Frank.
P1 NUT Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 Try grade a subaru car breakers, they might have some as there have been a few P1 had accidents beyond repair recently. Or try www.p1woc.co.uk
frank c Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 Have sent these guys an Email before with no reply........Think it might be better if i give them a call.. What kind of prices have you seen these going for on th P1 website m8 ???? Frank.
Solmaster555 Posted April 11, 2006 Author Posted April 11, 2006 Thanks guys for all the comments - looks like I'll be getting the Brembos from Godspeed, or try and push the budget for AP 6 pots (£1800!!!!) as I plan to introduce the car to Knockhill this year. Local dealer won't entertain me for P1 suspension as I don't have a P1. I'll try the P1 owners web. If anyone else has doe this, post your comments! Stewart
