andy Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 ...I'm off to the pub for a final smoke. Enjoy a new era tomorrow of smelling folks feet and body odour down your local! []
st3ph3n Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 Cannae wait! Another victory for the Scottish Parliament. I say that as an average joe and not as an employee of the place too.
jcscoob Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 Well i am a smoker and i think the smoking ban is a great thing !! []

G.T. Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 i cant wait filthy habbit bet the pubs still ming of smoke for ages though
andy Posted March 26, 2006 Author Posted March 26, 2006 Don't get me wrong. I'm all for it - even as a smoker. I've not smoked in a restaurant for at least 5 years as I hate it when others do it when I'm eating. Always go outside. I've been out in Dublin since they implemented it and it didn't bother me at all. Just had a good laugh with the pub/club bouncers and the other smokers when we did go outside to smoke. My local isn't the most exciting. High point of the week is when the student cops at Tulliallan get their night out on a Thursday and think they can sing karaoke. It is, however, the end of an era and one last visit was called for. I had one pint, two fags and home again.
st3ph3n Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 I've never drank in Kincardine. I hear it's interesting. Drank in Alloa once. Never again.
vicki Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 i am stopping tonight after 15 years and its going to be tough. grrrrr Good Luck Chris [Y]
sheep Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 Nothing wrong with drinking in kincardine except the police who desend on the pub on thursday nights thinking they can sing. Steven drinking in alloa!!!! are you mad? I used to work there and knew people who lived there that wouldnt drink there.
fai17 Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 As you know that i work in my Restaurant for the last 18 years and i bet you that my lungs are as black as my tyres. So i'm glad i don't have to take this anymore and i will have to police this rule at my work. If i see anyone lighting up in my premises i'll just have to chop them 1 before i tell them to put it out. Rant over......i can breath good air again. No fags = more funds for mods.[]
ANDYJDMSTI Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 Rant over......i can breath good air again. Until you step outside and get hit with the pollution from, cars, lorries, buses and everyone smoking outside. [][]
