iain_ogston Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Hi all! Just joined the SIDC although I've owned my 95 WRX RA for about three years now. Haven't used it that much, running up under 10000Km over last three years. So far I've added an induction kit, STI mudflaps (the real ones which go right round under the front arches, not immitations), morettes, V6 grille, STI foglight covers. Not too bothered about how the car looks (hence no STI V5 spoiler, lowering springs, 17" alloys), more concerned with the performance. Exhaust system has upgraded equal length front headers, uppipe downpipe (decat) and is fully ported. Fuelling supplied by an upgraded fuel pump and upgraded fuel rail + stabiliser. Next month I'm hoping to get an Apexi ECU, 550cc injectors, a racing clutch and AVCr boost controller. Also been advised to get a metal head gasket, upgraded lighweight forged pistons, bottom end bearings and upgraded oil pump. If finances allow I'll get a FMIC as well. What's the modified scooby scene like around aberdeen?
Carl Davey Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 There's a couple of us in ABZ who use the forum and are into mods. There's Russ in Aberdeen who has a 400+ bhp STi 6 RA not to mention Jools in Inverurie with a god-knows-how-powerful MY02 STi Bugeye. Plenty of other well modified cars in the area too. I'm in Turriff myself and am busy getting used to my new STi 4 RA after selling my MY98 UK last June.
