the squiggle Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 Location will be Merlin House carpark, just along from where the Glasgow meet is held. If this stuff keeps falling then i will be burning Optimax at a scary rate for no reason whatsoever Feel free to join me for 1 at a time fun If you know of a more suitable car park that is free from traffic islands, lights and the such like, feel free to post up in the morning. Grant

the squiggle Posted March 12, 2006 Author Posted March 12, 2006 Thank god for 4WD Tried to move the works van and only managed about 3cm's, so good chance of a day off tomorrow Another hour out in the car park with G.Mac, thanks for the shot of a STI fitted with a DCCD system. Pity it cant deal with snow getting behind the wheels and you can only steer straight-ish but a pleasure none the less balancing the car on the throttle Grant
Gumball Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 lol Thankd god for 2wd. i left the s500b and took the astra stealth car out for a play. no hubcaps never mind alloys to be smashed off kerbs, no oil to worry about really and no low bumpers to smash. just 2003 vauxhall astra engineering to powerslide, flick and wrc corner all around east kilbrides industrial estates. the handbrake and the 3rd gear with the right balance saw the blue stealther sliding at 45 degrees for 100metres before.............. i got stuck and spent 15 mins laughing as i crawled about under the front wheels trying to get the snow out the way. eventually managed and then got it stuck again. summary- the scoob is good for power donuts the astra is good for long wrc stylie power slides down narrow roads.
ally-b Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 Best day at work in ages .[] I de-flowered the factory carpark at 6:30 this morning [] Canteen staff didn't arrive , so no breakfast at 9:00 [] ... so I played in the carpark again [] Told we could go home at 12:00 [] ... played in the carpark again [] I howled with laughter as the smart-arses who said I was daft parking in the exposed upper carpark , couldn't get up the slope to get out of the underground carpark []- they are probably still there as I type this [] Al
