Towards the end of last year the car had its 15min of fame when it was put on

the rollers and the sounds from the exhaust and dump valve were professionally

recorded by a company called Visual Scisnces to be used in a new came called

Velocity.

For this I was going to have a mention in the credits, get paid and have a copy

of the sounds emailed to me.

Well it looks like the company have went bust, so i wont be getting either of the above

and no credits on the game as it aint going to be made anymore.

I know there were a few others asked as well so heres how I found out

My mate in his skyline R34GTR done it to, i heard that some other company were trying to buy the game and bring it out under there name, not sure wot company it was tho !!

Fingers crossed they do and you get you name in the credits .

Damn shame Al. I remember reading a bit about the game and it did sound blatantly average though. You're probably better off without it.

Yep... I'm in the same position as you Al.

Game sounded pretty bollox to be fair, but the amount of money offered was enough to drag my ass out of bed. Should have listened to my old man, he said he'd be VERY surprised if I ever saw the money. [^o)] []

Could be worse - I took my car through to be recorded and my diff called it a day on the rollers [:'(]  This after I had travelled down to Portsmouth to collect the car from it's latest rebuild just for the recording, so I ended up a few hundred quid worse off for the experience.

 

I spoke to Mark before the company went bye bye, and it was clear at that stage things weren't looking good.  There were rumours in the specialist press that the company were dead and burried a couple of weeks before it was made official.
