oobster Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 Spotted a grey/silver Honda S2000 on the hard-shoulder on the way home tonight, between Harthill services and the Whitburn/Bathgate junction. Front end was well stoved-in, no lights or bumper, bonnet looked well crumpled. Back bumper was still in place but looked well smacked on the nearside corner. No other cars around so he had either done a 360 and smacked the central reservation or the other cars involved had been removed. Some mess anyway. By the way - fitted those PIAA silicon windy wipers at the weekend - expensive, but very good - was pee'ing down most of the way home and hardly had to turn the wipers on once. 35-bangers from Scoobyworld.
pink pepper Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 i was heading westbound on the M8 this evening, i didn't see the accident but seen a lorry, 3 traffic cop cars, fire engine and an ambulance stopped at the side of the road eastbound. Pity the people driving west bound slowed to an almost complete stop to have a nose! [:^)]
st3ph3n Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 Didn't see the S2000 but the accident east bound between Bathgate and 3A was for a van that had rolled into the ditch at the side. Looked pretty bad I must say. oobster - RainX would have sorted you out for less than a tenner. It's quality.
oobster Posted February 28, 2006 Author Posted February 28, 2006 is 3A the one next to the pyramids, where Motorola used to be?
st3ph3n Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 Aye! 3a is Motorola. If you're going eastbound coming round the corner just before the pyramids then the accident would be just where the corner ends and you start heading up hill. The van was lying on its side in the ditch.
oobster Posted February 28, 2006 Author Posted February 28, 2006 Ah right. I think it was snowing in that area around 4.30-5.00pm.
