Lol, i'll make it fit!  The cooler is for a MY02 wrx so im sure it will fit. Will probably have to make a few modifications.

I would think the turbo will have to be converted to front entry first before fitting.

Correct-e-mundo.

Now take the rest of yesterday off, you have earned it.

Herbie,  Looks like a nice combination that will produce a good few more ponies.  Do you have a Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator and Uprated fuel pump to aid this new breathing apperatus.  The uprated pump and regulator will give a greater degree of safety under a high boost/revs situation.

We got a bugeye intercooler to upgrade from our classic one and we had to adjust the brackets and a couple of other bits and bobs!!! If you like pm WRC No 1 and he will help you out fetting the intercooler onto a classic.

Also been told (dunno if its true) that if u upgrade the turbo to a Front entry TD05 you would be best getting a remap

From what i have heard Claire, you can fit a TD05/06 20g to a std 97 UK Silver ECU without any problem.  The flux capacitor needs adjusted and the jiggle pin needs stroked but apart from that it will be fine.

Good thinking batman...may leave that till next month.  Stuff is getting fitted on Monday.

The TD05 turbo will go on by splitting the turbo thats on the car at the moment.

Yes it will be getting remapped too.

That intercooler was a steal! Kit + BOV and delivery from the USA and only cost £170 hehe

Cheers.

yes that is a fab intercooler and it works very well, mines is the same and is is a verry tight fit. A few bracket alterations and a wee plpay around with some silicon hoses and she will work just fine.

On my bugeye i had to remove the strut brace to get it in so chech your clearances first.
