Gumball Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 I just got 5 pm's sent to the inbox of my business email. To recieve emails there everytime i have a PM isnt something i am looking forward to and cant say that i think its the best idea everytime you get a PM. I will now be turning off my PM cabalility IF I CAN as this is too much and i will end up with a naughty email from internal support asking me what i think im playing at. gggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr[]
Johnny50 Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 Can you not just go to your profile and turn off Receive Email ? Would that do it ?
Gumball Posted February 5, 2006 Author Posted February 5, 2006 where is the capability to do that now?? i dont see it
col666 Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 I am the same, just been into my Hotmail and all these PM's! Also when you reply to a post it comes up 'unable to process your request' but when you go back into forum its worked?! Teething trouble i suppose! Colin.
warby Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 Chris email willie@sidc.co.uk and ask him to change your profile mate.
Gumball Posted February 5, 2006 Author Posted February 5, 2006 done, thanks msn and yahoo IM or aol messenger will be fine from now on. mobile is also good. lol
willie Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 Chris We are looking at different ways of showing a PM other than by email. We thought (wrongly with hindsight) that people would like the fact the entire PM goes to an email address. Give us a couple of weeks.
bigbadboab Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 Can you not have another window open up when you recieve a pm? Just an idea. Willie I touch goats
the squiggle Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 Can we not have naked Swedish chicks come round to our house to inform us we have PM? Just an idea!!! I think this would be a lot more pleasent than the current arrangement. Grant
the squiggle Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 Looking like we are after naked Swedish chicks, driving Impreza's and informing us in broken English that we have a PM in our inbox. [6] Grant
