Charliep Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 My car is due its 90,000 mile service shortly and being new to the south west area don't exactly know where is the best value and best place to take it. I was originally going to travel up to Chesterfield to scooby clinic but after leaving several phone messages and never getting back to me I decided not to go with them. Anyone got any other good experiences locally. Cheers Charlie

billy the fish Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 agree with above or if you want a subaru garage to do it Ashburton is a top dealership had dealings with all the above and Ashburton can recomend them all if you want a price give em a ring m8 i do my own servicing the book says 4.5hrs for cam belt i did it in 3.5hrs taking my time (+ alot of cup`s of tea lol)
Charliep Posted March 4, 2006 Author Posted March 4, 2006 I am going to do most of the service my self, oil/filters etc leaving plugs and belts to the pro's though. still thinking of making the effort to go to scooby clinic next time I visit family in Sheffield.... they want £165 for new belt fitted...not bad...?
Dangermouse Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 If you want a truly local service, try CAMS on 07710 342841 The owner is a Scooby driver and does all my MOT's and quite a lot of our company work, highly recommended and he's in Chippenham, so local for you as well. If you call him, tell him Derek sent you!!
