Subaru part number help ??

Hi all ,

As you may know . My '00 Impreza turbo is currently being repaired following an incident with a deer in Argyll .

The garage are having bother ordering the passenger side crystal fog lamp from subaru , do you know the part-number of the crystal fog lamps ?

Can Subaru not get it from your chassis number?

The bodyshop who the insurance co sent it to , fitted one patterned one and are saying that it is correct for my car .

I have explained is a load of pish as '00 should have crystal foglamps -NOT patterned glass and DEFINATELY NOT one of each .

I have been asked to take my car back to them so that they can look for a part number on my crystal one which survived the crash, but I'm getting sick of messing about with them for the last month and just want to say to them "get me a foglamp , part number blah-blah , and get it fitted "- job done.

I just got a near side crystle fog light for myoo plate classic and the part number for that is 84501FA390. I got it from Nobles parts dep at penicuik at the cost of £59.65. Hope this helps.

Get them told that the lights changed on the facelift model and to get there technical dept to get there ass in gear and get there records up to date so as anyone else dosn't have the nightmare that you have had.
