wrxmania Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Not me but I've got a nice Green triangular Quality Street - if that's any good
col666 Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 So thats yours Malky, very nice, i have a pic of it somewhere from Knockhill. I really fancy a prodrive bugeye but there arent many about, I prefer them to the blobeye, more agressive looking with the dark headlamps. Dont put morettes on it whatever you do, they look awful with them, IMO!
G.T. Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 hi less o that talk col my bug eye is blessed with the head lamp conversion
the squiggle Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 With the operational word being TYPE UK, your so called Prodrive Style has the same chassis code as a Type UK STI and the real Prodrive Style has its own unique chassis code The car is a Subaru Impreza STI Type UK PPP fitted with a Prodrive Styling kit The car is fitted from the factory as a UK car with some JDM style parts on it, all cosmetic stuff and no actual performance parts. It was made in the factory as a Type UK STI then fitted in the UK with some cosmetic extras to give the illusion of exclusivity. Where as the real Subaru Impreza Prodrive Style is a completely different car which has std factory features such as DCCD, Roof Scoop, Prodrive seats and BBS alloys. The Prodrive Style only had 400 cars built and these were built ground up as Prodrive Style as opposed to the 750 conversions in the UK being made to std Type UK STI's What about your point of re-exporting cars back to Japan as Prodrive Style models? My point is your car is not a real Prodrive Style but mearly a UK car, created in the annals of International Motors to boost flagging sales with some cosmetic touches on it trying to cash in on the Prodrive Style name. The car was not built in Japan as a Prodrive Style, then exported to the UK in a limited number greater that what the home market got. Grant
malky Posted January 8, 2006 Author Posted January 8, 2006 I think you need to read some of the posts again, as some of youre points i have never said
the squiggle Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Like what points are you referring to Still would like to know about the re-exporting them back to Japan as Prodrive Style cars Grant
RA Dunk Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 << who else has a Marks and Spencers Teacake with a purple wrapper? >> i got 2 does that make me elite or a fat cnut??
the squiggle Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 The real Prodrive Style, please note picture 5 Would the real Prodrive Style that was re-imported back from the UK please stand up Now you can see the car that your Type UK was based on and i do applaud you for stating the Type UK part
