RA Dunk Posted January 7, 2006 Author Posted January 7, 2006 i tried to get millers but couldent get it in halfords so got this instead increases petrol by 3 points there was other stuff that increased it by 6 POINTS! but that was 20 quid
jcscoob Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Get it in, im sure it will help you go WOOOOSH !!!!
RA Dunk Posted January 7, 2006 Author Posted January 7, 2006 well only reason i bought it was after getting the new exhaust on im gonna get my carbon emmisions tested on monday to see if it passes before i throw out my old exhaust so i thought some octane booster would help with the emissions a bit
RA Dunk Posted January 7, 2006 Author Posted January 7, 2006 im 35 miles north of aberdeen dipsy so i just went to my local halfrauds
stephen_cheyne Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 I tried to get Millers oil in Peterhead. I think MAC Tyres can get you Millers Octane Booster don't know if they'll have it in stock though. A mate of mine used to get a pack of say 10 or 20 from them. Also give Motorparts (I think that's what its called) in Fraserburgh a phone. He's got Millers stuff. Got my oil from him, don't know if he stocks octane booster though. Stephen.
dipsy Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Wallace performance in Aberdeen sell millers products and there is like i said above a millers depot in Aberdeen phoned them up in past asking about octane booster.I went to Awd last week and got another case of octane booster alot cheaper than autosave in Dundee
mazheriqbal_mohammed Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Not tried that boost but tried their other cheaper booster at crail and found i got one of my best 1/4 mile runs (but it could have been down to some good driving that day ). Let me now how you get on with the Nos booster as i was tempted to try some out at some point If you are looking for millers booster Grant at AWD can sort you out with a good deal on a box of the millers booster, he did for me Think he nornally charges around £30 for a box of 10 which aint too shabby and given you paid £20 for one bottle of halfrauds booster it even works out cheaper given the petrol for a drive down to Perth.

stephen_cheyne Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Yip, haven't seen your car around either. Some day! Good lot of Scoobs popping up in the town though. Stephen.
mazheriqbal_mohammed Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 << Igy you could stick in cvl turbo being your running no cats .I think a bottle treats 20litres but boosts ron by 4octane >> Tried this stuff already and found it was no different to using the cheaper millers booster hence why i am a bit undecided over which booster gives you best performance? << Igy the £20 was for the stuff which increased by 6 points (not for road use on bottle lol) >> 6 points now thats a health increase in octane rating, definately tempted to try a bottle out next crail me thinks
