trevor_atkinson Posted December 24, 2005 Posted December 24, 2005 trying to find out which is best for me cads or lads as i live in the stalybrige area which is in the middle of both camps.
rasher Posted December 24, 2005 Posted December 24, 2005 welcome mate Come down to one of our meets and see what you think. CADS is a fairly new club and is still in its infancy but has alot of excellent plans for the new year including its own cracking website that is still under construction, monthly meets, we attend shows etc. LADS is well established already as it has been going alot longer. Suppose it depends on what you want???
blue boy Posted December 24, 2005 Posted December 24, 2005 Agree with Rasher/Nige, would say that in my humble opinion we tend to be a little more family orientated than the LADS. If you email me I'll send you details of the next meet, venue & maps etc. Bob
andrew_greenhalgh Posted December 24, 2005 Posted December 24, 2005 Hi mate, i`m a newbie, just joined a couple of weeks ago,and loving it went to my first meet 2 weeks ago, well impressed looking forward to next years plans as rasher said come down meet everyone its a bit more family orientated. see what you think got nothing to loose.
blue boy Posted December 24, 2005 Posted December 24, 2005 Come on Chris no using the CADS space to promote SMACS Course there is nothing to stop you joining us you know!
warby Posted December 24, 2005 Posted December 24, 2005 << Or you could try the smacs, based at the moment in Marple Your choices are endless! And we have a member formerly from stalybridge Check out our site which is also a work in progress. Next drive out is on the 2nd january, hope to see you then, chris. website >> This is not a free advertiing space for other areas to promote there clubs. If you wish to do that go some where else. This is for CADS only.
rasher Posted December 24, 2005 Posted December 24, 2005 << Or you could try the smacs, based at the moment in Marple >> there is section for other clubs based in this area Chris, Northern England
Little H Posted December 24, 2005 Posted December 24, 2005 welcome aboard buddy, the pros of CADS is also we are a registered SIDC club so get the full backing and support of them, which helps and carrys alot o pros like, WRC trips, days out to the likes of Prodrive and so on, contact Bob he will fill you in.
robert_harding Posted December 24, 2005 Posted December 24, 2005 CADS or LADS... im in Both...depends what you want out the club. or just join em both...like me would like to mention that the Lads and CADs do not compete against each other so there is no real rivalry between each Club, infact both attend the Tatton Show together Twice every year.
