No Halfords was nt at the top of my list Rasher but thanks for the tip

Not after anything fancy just a good basic system (head unit and speakers plus the wiring).

Rear speakers especially are pretty shocking (some make I ve never heard of) and I think there might be a break in the wiring to the left rear.

Incidentely is it worth fitting a seperate amp ie. does it improve sound quality or just the volume capability ?

A standard installation is worth fitting an amp just for quality. If your going to that extent get a head unit with at least one pre-out and an amp to match and then re-wire from the amp to the speakers. Are you looking for sub if so make sure the amp has a seperate sub output. Will have a chat to you on sunday about it a bit more

probably wont bother with a sub as not too worried about head banging bass. Might go with an amp tho for a bit of extra quality.

Wont be able to make Sundays meet as working again (groan), but hoping to get my ass down in the new year
