Loud knock/bang when braking suddenly

started to notice a knock/bang when i brake suddenly! any ideas people?mate seems to think he can feel it coming from the passenger foot well.cheers for any help

ask the squirell fella he knows everyhing about subarus and is very helpful with any questions you have

may be the pads slipping if its a clunking noise or something hitting the bulkhead.

when i had my classic i had what sounded like a knocking noise when braking or going over bumps.........turned out that the clip that holds the brake pad needed a slight adjustment as the pad was moving a small amount in the caliper.
