sharon_mccall Posted December 7, 2005 Posted December 7, 2005 Cannot bloody believe it. Another TWO punctures this morning. Yet another new tyre. And another repair required. Well pi$$ed off after having such a good day yesterday. Thanks to WH Tyres in Bonnybridge for the two tyres today to tide me over. RANT OVER
yoshi Posted December 7, 2005 Posted December 7, 2005 I sympathise - I had a spate of punctures - 3 in total over 1-2 weeks. Careful examination of my driveway found screws and nails lying there, and these were the things that were getting pulled out of my tyres. Some cock had been careless with their diy....

scooby222 Posted December 7, 2005 Posted December 7, 2005 touch wood i havent had any for years, but the last time i did i got three in a row! dont know if the idea appeals to anyone but my other halfs dad has started a business selling tyre sealant, its a green gel that goes into the tyre and seals any holes as soon as the object is pulled out. it doesnt have a speed restriction and unlike punctures you can have more than three holes in a tyre without having to replace it. im sure i could get a group buy/discount if there was enough interest. and no i aint in commission!
sharon_mccall Posted December 7, 2005 Author Posted December 7, 2005 Well with my bad luck you'd better order me up half a ton of the stuff m8.

st3ph3n Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 << Cos i am feckin skint, canny even afford to have heatin on in my flat!! >> Is that cos you have an optimax addiction?
sharon_mccall Posted December 8, 2005 Author Posted December 8, 2005 st3ph3n m8, it's cos i have a crap paid job and live on my own and yes if i have to choose between heating the flat or petrol for Ruby - well Ruby wins hands down every time!!!
colinj Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 You could try burning the goodyears for heat....although not advisable unless in a well ventilated room
sharon_mccall Posted December 8, 2005 Author Posted December 8, 2005 Colin - ROFL You are so funny m8.
