colinj Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 Hypertech fitted my blitz turbo timer You can only get one that arms the alarm if you buy a clifford alarm with built in TT......................its still against the law however to leave a running car on a public highway regardless of it having no keys in it or locked up!! I mostly use mine for warming up the car on the driveway in the cold mornings!!! LOL
jcscoob Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 I have a greddy, but i am changing it for an apexi, and mrs JC has the blitz duel thing that's got a digital booost gauge on it to, i would say the blitz one is better than the greddy, the blitz is much easier to use ! Go for one of the 2 part things with the slim line face much neater!
the squiggle Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 Agree with JC Go for the Apexi one as it has a Air Fuel Ratio display Grant
billyboy Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 I had a blitz turbo timer fitted in the terzo.Didnt affect the alarm.
ian_finlayson Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 Don't mean to stir it up but why bother unless you live at a motorway petrol station at the top of a hill or in a village beside the best road in scotland, even if you do it's not that hard to drive round the block once to cool the turbo down. It only needs about 1 to 2 mins normal driving to let everything cool down maybe more if you have thrashed the pants off the car for the past half hour. Unless that is you only use the car on track and even then why not leave it idling for a minute while calming yourself down in the process. Sorry to offend but i just dont see the need for them. But I do live in the city and always have a ten minute drive to/from my house to any high speed roads.
