tech question

in my 03 STI type UK while changing from 4th to 5th at high revs, it crunches into gear unless i let the revs drop. It drives fine at normal speeds and revs in all other gears, but when pushing it in 4th - 5th this happens.

Halleys say they will check with subaru tech dept to see if its a recognised problem and get back to me, but i thought i would enlist the vast techy knowledge of the forum members so that Subaru cant come back and tell me its just my driving (i hope its not my driving)

My MY98 did the same.

cars still under warranty, so i take it this problem will be covered?

Get down the dealers and push them for a repair ASAP

Same thing happens on mine Karps. Try double clutching, if that cures the prob it would confirm a syncro problem.
