Ran my STI5 Type Ra for over a year with no problems what so ever.

Was un touched apart from a modified STI back box I madeface-icon-small-wink.gif

When I traded her in the new owner de cated the car and guess what.....it threw the pistons out the block and went on fire.

My advice....Dont mess with STI.

They spent millions in development. I dont think anyone else has done that for them yet so there isnt much chance of anyone else doing much better is there??

A new downpipe was one of the first mods I made to my Type R and defo one of the best. It can make the car run leaner so you need to make sure that it doesn't cause any problems with det. Get that knocklink sorted and make sure she's getting her daily dose of octane booster and that should see you right.

BTW, with just a decat mine made 320bhpface-icon-small-smile.gif

Aaaaaahhhhh!!!!!

Don't it'll break

Do it's great!

I'm getting my knickers all in a twist now!

First things first....I do really need to get my knocklink sorted.....its been fitted for months, and not worked properly

I'll get on at the guys at wallace performance this weekend...apparently they're gatecrashing my night out!

Fee - if Gav is not getting this sorted for you, give me a call, I'll get it working for you (sold over 100 of these and fitted about 40 of them!)

<< They seem to think my 'box' is faulty though.....and they can't find the sensitivity switch on it >>

Fee, that has to take the biscuit, the switch is located on the side of the box. It is a little hole which has a black knob with an arrow on it. Turn it clockwise to increase the sensitivity.

Who is the monkey that said they couldn't find the sensitivity switch as I wouldn't let him near your car again. Speak to Russ, he is the only one there who knows what he's doing.

Its not in the box anymore though...I think that's the problem

Funnily enough.....Russ is the only one that hasnt looked at it lol

Just to clarify................the Russ they are talking about is Russell at Wallace Per4mance, NOT RUSSELL FROM BHP DEVELOPMENTS!

I have nothing against Russell, in fact I think he is a highly skilled individual who is wasted there and should be opening a place of his own where his real skills can flourish! I just want to make sure that people understand it is not me, or my company, that is being spoken about here!
