22B in Edinburgh

Spotted this minted motor in Edinburgh today..

Does it belong to anyone on here ???? Looked well cool and sounded sweet, I just wish i could afford one.

Saw a 22B (think was JDM one) around Newhaven yesterday : this the one ? Had heavy tints on the rear side windows.

The 22B is possibly the coolest looking rally-rep car ever !

The car had 285bhp and 303ft/lb when I bought it. Now has a TSL Motorsport ti-phoon back box and a de-cat centre pipe, which probably doesn't add much to the power output but saves me buying a decent hi-fi for the car!

I'm from Dolphinton near West Linton. Trying not to use the 22b for the daily commute, but it's hard when the other option is a Fiat Punto!

Just thinking Alan, you wouldn't like you little Punto being lonely, why don't you swap that big and nasty 22B for my nice little corsa, its a cdti and after driving it you will never complain about a punto again. and think of all the money you would save. ( after driving the corsa you would walk to work rather than drive it)

Driving the Punto reminds me of how good the 22b is, apart from the quality of the interior plastics, which even a Punto betters! The Punto also has an advantage in that I can park it anywhere in Edinburgh and find it in the same place and condition when I return. The downside is when you pull out to overtake and then remember that you've left the Subaru at home!

Corsa TDi swop? I had a Nova 1.3 Sport with twin 40's and a wild cam many years ago but depite that I'm still not tempted!! Unfortunately I have a good memory.

It's number 280 from memory (usually poor). Had only done 4k miles when I bought it a year ago .........13k now

Trade in for a green Scooby? Might consider it provided it has a matching green exhaust! LOL.
