col666 Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 Me and my mate had our first day out with our new cameras yesterday, setting up a motorsport photo website just nowwww.power-images.co.uk ,hopefully be up and running in the next month or so. We will try and cover as many events as possible, Knockhill, Crail, Rallies etc. Pictures (if they are good enough!) will be available to purchase for a small fee. As there are 2 of us we feel we can capture more incidents, accidents and because we are both car nuts rather than full time snappers, we will always be moving about the circuit trying to get action shots rather than sitting in one spot all day like most other photographers taking boring pics. Between us we took about 600 pics yesterday! just messing about with camera settings and making an arse of if sometimes but also got some very good shots, heres a very small selection- If anybody knows guys that were competing yesterday and would be interested in any pics of their car please feel free to give out my email and i can send them some photos, colint1974@hotmail.com Colin. dougster Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 Nice looking shots. What camera equipment are you using?
col666 Posted November 6, 2005 Author Posted November 6, 2005 Dougster, Using a Nikon D50 with a Nikon 70-300mm Lens and a 18-55mm for close ups. Yesterday was the first time i have ever used an SLR in my life! Quite pleased with the pics, my mate took the one of the crashing pug, he reduced them loads to send to me thats why the quality isnt very good. Col.
zeolite Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 It was a good event Gumball. Pity so few SIDC members thought it worthy of a visit! Good to meet you Col.
