FastScooby Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 Was talking to a guy today regarding tyre sizes ... got offered 2 tyres sizes 225/45/16 to go on my car which has 205/50/16 is this true that it can b*gger up the transfer box??
ScoobyAndy Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 If iam correct then yes! Only fit tyres of a matching size on all 4 corners. NEVER mix!!!!
jcscoob Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 << Try this. Tyre Calculator >> Wot a tool !! nice one doug, thats going right to favourites .
dougster Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 "Wot a tool !!" I have been tempted to use that phrase a few times on Scottish Scoobies!!!!!!!!
Gumball Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 bear in mind that the woder the tyres the bigger the slide. if you have two big ones on the fron and thinner ones on the back or vice versa you could be in trouble on corners the bigger the footprint the bigger the pile in sideways
