FastScooby Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 Booked into hypertech on thursday at 1pm for geometry setup... what are the best settings to use
FastScooby Posted November 1, 2005 Author Posted November 1, 2005 that should take me straight to the scrappy with those settings
craig mac Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 Gus Will these places have the prodrive settings? Hyper and Falkland i mean?> Craig
frank c Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 Prodrive settings are not always the best. It depends on your driving style and how you like the car set up.
craig mac Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 Guys So what set up would you recommend for faster road use only then? Craig
WUZ Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 In all honesty, prodrive setting give less understerr by adding camber to the front wheels! Downside is that the insides af the tyres will be down t o the canvas in 11-13000 miles. To get the best from tyour car, fit springs, get mid level geometry ( more camber than now but less than prodrive) Then fit Rear ARB, Droplinks and ALK. Car will handle like a dream! I think Boyakasha still has his ALK for sale. Never even went on his car! Russell
Gumball Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 get the hill climb settings !!!! wear more on the tyres but awesome. wouldnt expect you to lose it on a bend with these bad boys
st3ph3n Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 Rear ARB and the ALK. I'll just make a note of that. I'm running the prodrive settings, and white line droplinks. Money tremendously well spent I must say.
irish al Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 Have added that to my list as well, its a long list now but getting shorter by the day. The pile of goodies in my house is also getting bigger Dam SIDC website, makes me write lists, makes me save money, makes me spend money, makes me want to do things to a perfectly good car, but makes me
FastScooby Posted November 3, 2005 Author Posted November 3, 2005 got the whiteline springs.... strut brace...drop link front and back.... so the prodrive would be better for this or an in betweeny setup
