I'm still don't know how to put pictures directly onto forum.

Help please.

i saved peter's pics, then attached file to my reply, then messed with the code.

is there a quicker way?

I copied Peter's entire original post, then pasted it into my reply.

The i deleted all the IMG tags, and replaced them with > img border=0 src="http://img blah blah blah.jpg" <

Except the > & < have to be the other way round.

If images are "off-site" (like at photobucket) you only need to put the address of where they are in. If the images are attached to your post, and are saved on the SIDC server (using the upload attachements fuction" then the address would be http://forums.sidc.co.uk/attachemets//thenameofthepic.jpg (note the double forward slash after attachments)

I've deleted my post again coz it was taking ages to load them but feel free to re-do if you want. Or i can do them again, whatever suits.

funny things happen to the file name when loaded onto bbs using the attachment tool ...... the 'dot' between the pic name and jpg changes to something like %2E

peter,

in your photobucket window, you'll see 3 boxes under the pics you have uploaded.

you want to copy the 2nd one and paste it direct into your thread.

hint - make sure the pics are reduced in size before you upload to photobucket, it can mess up the forum if they are too large
