paulc555 Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 So I picked up my Blitz panel filter today from Jambo.. Anyone fancy showing me how to fit it tom at Knockhill... some guidance would be appreciated for a complete numpty like me...anyone care to help.... cheers
dipsy Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 Does your air box have clips at the side .If i am not helping my Dad i will be going to Knockhill so hopfully get there and help you out and if its not clips do you have any screwdrivers spanners with you .I just lifted the top half of the airbox slid the old filter out and put the new panel filter in the cable for the maf is long enought to do this ok

dipsy Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 If i am there a Vreg green classic uk turbo and i don't disconnect pipe work just undo the clips on my year of classic lift it up enough to get filter out and put back in again i have no problems with doing this

~ ~ Cal ~~ Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 Be careful fitting it or you'll get all sorts of crap in the air box so :- 1. make sure the slots are seated properly at the back of the box ( slide them in at 62° ) 2. make sure the rubber edge of the panel filter is nice & secure all round the edges Cal
