granby Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 << ive found a place selling normal unleaded for 88.9p a litre in plumstead! have you seen cheaper? >> Sorry but that's not any good we need the cheapest Optimax
darryl_martin Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 Always found the one at Northfleet between renault and ford garages to be pretty reasonable but haven't been past it this week so can't give exact price at the moment although given the last 24 hours could be anything now!!!!! Or is that just me.
granby Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 << it 94.9p a litre! for optimax >> cheers , cheaper than my shell garage
Dalthegooner Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 Cheaper than mine as well. What garage is it Leon? The one on Plumstead Common Road?
leon Posted September 2, 2005 Author Posted September 2, 2005 it the one on top of the hill near the taekwondo place are
darryl_martin Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 Just checked Northfleet, putting it up as I pulled in!!! 99.9p Gravesend however at 95.9p but that was about falf an hour ago .....
baser999 Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 Hi Leon, just seen your postings about 'cheap' go-go juice. Must admit that you've confused me (although that happens more and more as I get older!) but I live just off Plumstead Common and the only garage that I can think of in that area is the one along past the Co-op - is this the one you're talking about ? The only martial arts centre I know of is at the other end of the Slade. Perhaps the price of the juice has gone up so much since your posting I hadn't noticed that it was 'cheap' . An Esso garage on the Bromley Road in Shortlands near friends of mine was one of the cheaper ones around until last week when it hoicked its prices up - unleaded now up to 94.5p making it about the dearest!
imprezyou Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 Think its time for the fuel strikes again.......perhaps they will listen and drop the price a little. Somethings gotta be done......perhaps someone in the sidc can set up a mass rally of scoobs to number 10. What fun, a few hundread scoobs reeving up outside mr blairs office may get on the 6 oclock news.
baser999 Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 ........and just you wait, in a couple of years, Ken will no doubt try to lump scoobies in with the '4wd Chelsea tractor' and charge us all a premium rate of congestion charge Hopefully there'll be a motoring organisation out there who'll fight our corner on this!
markie Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 Filled up this morning going up bluebell hill, optimax £1.009................ they know we need fuel so dont give a sh#t what we think, the faggots will just increace prices when they need to pay for more of their f%ckups . Still i wont let them ruin my fun mark
leon Posted September 5, 2005 Author Posted September 5, 2005 yep thats the on in plumsted! not sure how much it is now ! i was up lincoln and i paid 99.9 p a litre for optimax!
dirtmonkey Posted September 7, 2005 Posted September 7, 2005 filled up there yesterday, the price is now 99.9p a litre. got £43 in my zippo lighter for a fuel tank
Dalthegooner Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 Filled up on the way home from Cornwall and paid 101.9 yesterday and then in my local in Hawley Road today was 99.9
baser999 Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 Paid 94.5 for ordinary unleaded in Bath yesterday - was told today that Asda on Bugsby Way still selling ordinary unleaded at LESS than 90p Must confess that I find this difficult to believe........but then this was over 6 hours ago and a lot can happen in that time.
michael_brookes Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 The cheapest super unleaded in my area is sainsbury(Aylesford) at 95p a litre
darryl_martin Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 Super plus at 92.9 Sainsburys A2 Pepper Hill, I know it aint optimax but its got to be better than ordinary unleaded?
Pele Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 Don't stop to buy Ultimate - it was 103.9 at the Medway services !!!!! glad I didn't need petrol at the time
mark_watson Posted October 20, 2005 Posted October 20, 2005 My friend told me that lakeside is doing 99 ron for 95.0 which is not to bad as 95 ron is about the same at most garage.
