running 270bhp with decat and remap,thinking of andy f hybrid turbo anybody recommend

Andy does a variety of hybrids at reasonable prices. He'll have something to keep you happy. you'll need a remap and more fuel for it. i.e uprated fuel pump and reg.

Just curios just had a tek3 done on a my2000 uk turbo hs decat jr panel 18psi from 2nd gear up the boost gauge reads 2psi out ie my boost gauge reads 20psi so its really 18psi.Andy forrest would be best person to speak to about the hybrid

I think you will get a bit more boost than me if you still have the top mount which is bigger than classic intercooler and are you runing the tdo4 still m8

Are you sure you won't need more with the hydrid and clutch and brakes and a remap plus fuelpump it put a smile on your face when it finished a specialy the hybrid turbo

If you look on Andyforrestperformance website you will see the prices for his hybrid turbos and shop around for the clutch and brakes and if you can do it yourself that will save money.Have a look on ebay you can buy brand new clutch and brakes that if you won't to bid and deal with ebay

i agree, are you sure as 1.4bar is about 20psi and thats alot of boost!!!!!!

dunno about the boost question but you guys need to get yourselves some decent avatars !!!

I sent Andy f email ie about tek3 and he says my ecu is mapped to be safe up to 21psi or on my boost it is 23psi

might not be as high as1.5bar,i know it was 1.2 after first remap.then i fitted de cat downpipe ,it was remapped again,i think boost was increased again.

It is Steve, but on just a Decat and Tek, with the TD04 still?

I got my car maped by Andy f .I did a mistake with my thread saying your car was maped safe for 21psi ie wrx35 and it was my car was maped safe for 21psi .I am not reading what i am composing and making mistakes sorry for confusing people .I dont know who maped wrx35 car
