Hi All,

I'm a bit infrequent on here, but like to have a look in now and again...!!!

I've realised that besides introducing myself, I've never posted any pics here, so I'm going to post a few pics of my Scoob and my weekend car.

Who else has daft cars apart from their Scoob..?

My standard (apart from WRSport backbox) 03 WRX on the way back from Spain in June '05

A Kent Scooby on tour in France

The "thing" that lurks in my garage...lol

1959 Chevy Apache, 468ci Big Block V8!

Hope the pics come out ok..!!

Look forward to comments and what's in YOUR garage...?

My Scoob lives outdoors too, though the truck just about squeezes into my rented lock-up in a compound..! face-icon-small-wink.gif

lol face-icon-small-happy.gif My other mode of transport are my legs - although since I got the scooby they've become more or less redundant face-icon-small-wink.gif

There must be good follow up quip there for me about redundant legs, but I'm sure it'll be rude, so I ain't going there..!! LOL face-icon-small-shocked.gif

Dirtmonkey,

Thats a really nice lookin' Scoob. The classics are definitely better looking than the newage, especially the 2 doors.....

Heh heh..!! Thats a cool bike, wouldn't mind that to zip to work on, it's only a few miles and I could use the back streets..lol

Other than the Leg, I use a 1990 903cc SEAT Ibiza for the daily 70 mile round trip for work. Returns 45mpg and only cost me £10 off ebay face-icon-small-cool.gif

BMW 320i race car - as per sig pic. I race it in the Milltek Sport/SELOC BMW Challenge this year at various circuits.

This year i've raced at Lydden, Brands Hatch, Snetterton (track/practice day - will be racing at Snett on September 10th and 11th), Rockingham, Croix-en-Ternois in France and Silverstone.

Car Spec: 1989 (F reg) BMW 320i, E30 model, 1990 cc engine with BMW Motronic 1.1 injection management system,

Stripped out, Safety devices roll cage, 4Ltr plumbed in fire extinguisher, Schroth 3", 6 point race harness, new for this weekend - Cobra "Evolution" race seat with side mounts - i need to lose weight to fit in it properly.

Mintex C-spec 1155 brake pads, Motul RBF 600 brake fluid, ATE Powerdisk brake discs - at about £25 a disc they're so cheap!, Goodrige stainless braided brake hoses.

Powerflex Polybush throughout.

Currently on AVO suspension, -60/-40mm springs with single way adjustable dampers, may upgrade soon as the springs are too soft and give poor roll stiffness.

Red top 25 race batttery (the most expensive way to save 9kg over standard battery)

One enormous Ramair cone air filter, Milltek race exhaust from the manifold back, custom made and develped for the E30 for the Milltek Sport BMW Challenge. Race spec engine oil that the supplier said was good for about 10 hours before it needed changing - that'll be about a years racing then

Tyres: 15" 205/50 Kumho, V700 pattern K9A race compound - spec tyres for race series on KN RLR alloy wheels.

Rollcentre lap timer.

There must be other stuff but i forget......

Hehe.. well my garage has half an RS turbo, some sierra cosworth bits, various exercize equipment, and loads of other junk as I am the worst horder in the world...

The other half Peugeot parks next to my company van on the road ! As my scoob and an rs turbo sit on the drive.....Under a very big and sensitive floodlight !
