Jazmac Posted July 27, 2005 Author Posted July 27, 2005 im not using a obd2 code reader just the onboard diagnostics thru the flashing CEL by connecting the black plugs so cant match the 85 with any obd2 codes
the squiggle Posted July 27, 2005 Posted July 27, 2005 ECU codes Bit of a weird one here There is no 85 listed on the full Subaru range wide list The small list of codes at the top is for the Turbo models and the large one at the bottom covers the full range from Justy to SVX Grant

ed-209 Posted July 27, 2005 Posted July 27, 2005 The only ref I can find for code 85 is in OBD2 P0085-Exhaust Valve Control Solenoid Circuit Low. But I would check with Subaru before spending any major money. If your car is fitted with a OBD2 connector I have the interface and software to check the codes for you. Would not be a problem. Ed
