Hepy Posted July 24, 2005 Posted July 24, 2005 Looking to get a decat downpipe fitted to my P1, then get it remapped. So which downpipe should I go for and who can fit it for me. I'm in Lanarkshire but not bothered about travelling to get it fitted.
dipsy Posted July 24, 2005 Posted July 24, 2005 Go for the hayward and scott downpipe .Awd in perth stock these phone 01738 633336.Awd will fit it for you
WUZ Posted July 24, 2005 Posted July 24, 2005 I can supply and fit the H&S Downpipe for a seriously low price. Pm me for details. However, If Aberdeen is too far for you, then Grant and Dave at AWD will help you out Russell
Don Mega Posted July 24, 2005 Posted July 24, 2005 I am also looking to get a downpipe.. currently running a blitz nur spec on my 95 uk turbo, would adding the downpipe without any ecu mods cause any problems?? I've been looking for a hayward and scott job to, but not many places seem to do them. Most seem to be HKS downpipes. Since AWD are now HKS kings to ... which would be better? HKS or hayward and scott? I'll be going to AWD for whichever as its only a 25min drive away Cheers D.
dipsy Posted July 24, 2005 Posted July 24, 2005 Hello Don Mega awd have hayward and scott exhaust parts in stock or give them a phone too make sure they have it in stock.I got my hs downpipe fitted last month to go with hs center and back box.But i have an ecutek2 exchange ecu.But Andy Forrest going to adjust or remap that ecu for me to stop spiking and boost creep at awd my cars my2000 uk turbo .I hope you understand this
Don Mega Posted July 24, 2005 Posted July 24, 2005 Hi Dipsy.. yeh i understood that completely mate. what i'm wondering is, since i have a 95 uk model i believe the ecu is not remapable and i dont enough money to buy a new one just now... was hoping to eventually get a scooby ecu, but not quite just yet. so if i fit a downpipe just now will this cause any problems? Cheers Dennis.
dipsy Posted July 24, 2005 Posted July 24, 2005 hello dennis i know a few scooby owners with decat downpipes that i know are running fine .I know the before 1999 cars cant be ecuteked.By the way i still have my orignal lamada sensor in the decat downpipe which is 5 and bit years old because i have had car from new.It pulls alot better with the down pipe and i have windows down more to listen to that great sound .If you get awd to fit downpipe i gave my downpipe nuts a soaking in wd40 which helps them.Yourself to save money .kev
