Gumball Posted July 8, 2005 Posted July 8, 2005 Got up this morning and went about my business as usual like everyone else. very angry and sad to hear bout the attrocities down south today and will be thinking about all the poor inncocent people that were involved or lost their lives doing the same as i was at that time, just in a different place. I understand this might get removed due to having no link with cars etc, i just wanted to say how unhappy i was to hear that news today. RIP
billyboy Posted July 8, 2005 Posted July 8, 2005 My heart goes out to all the innocent people who have been injured and to the families of those who were killed.
st3ph3n Posted July 8, 2005 Posted July 8, 2005 Hear hear. A day that promised to be remembered for all the right reasons with African aid at the G8 ended up being one that will go down in history for all the wrong reasons.
SEEVERS Posted July 8, 2005 Posted July 8, 2005 Heartfelt sympathy goes out to all involved......terrorism now appears to be upon us....closer and closer to home all the time. Del.
ANDYJDMSTI Posted July 8, 2005 Posted July 8, 2005 Was bound to happen sooner or later, just surprised that people were not more prepared considering that alot of police were moved from the Met to cover the G8. Or is that just me thinking too laterally????
Gumball Posted July 8, 2005 Author Posted July 8, 2005 even now people are struggling to get home in London. We dont do this to anyone else so why should we have it done to us? and how the security services didnt have any intelligence this was on the cards today............... i was thinking about this possibility last week due to the fact that all ayes are diverted north this week for G8, and i dont work for MI5
JamesF Posted July 8, 2005 Posted July 8, 2005 I agree with AndyJDMSTI, we should have been looking out for this happening around this time as with all the attention diverted to Scotland and the G8 summit etc it was a prime time for terrorist action. Heartfelt condolences go out to all involved too, a sad day
ANDYJDMSTI Posted July 8, 2005 Posted July 8, 2005 << i dont work for MI5 >> Thank god for that. MI5 = homeland (mainland uk) security MI6 = international affairs working ethics between the two are not the best , nver have been and never will Lifes a bitch eh????
micra_wrc Posted July 8, 2005 Posted July 8, 2005 heard about it during work and started worrying about people I knew there. luckily got emails from close friends working in the City that they were safe. condolences to those that were lost and injured today. Imy
ScoobyAndy Posted July 8, 2005 Posted July 8, 2005 here here. sorry to hear this too. may all our thoughts go out to all those poor people caught up in it
MS S6CUB Posted July 8, 2005 Posted July 8, 2005 Such a sad day... Sometimes the world is an unfair place.....
