Mountain road speed limit !!!!

I herd on the radio this morning that there are going to be speed limits on the mountain road .

I did not hear it all but there is going to be a 50 limit up to the goose-neck... and there was other parts as well.....

And I think that it is not just for the TT.....

Well, I for one will not be sticking to a 50 limit to the Gooseneck, I love Tower Bends, they can shove it where the sun don't shine.

Another of the 'Creeping' 50's that have hit the TT course in the last few years i guess

Still it should only be for the TT period just like the Creg-ne-Bar one.

The time to kick off is after TT if it does not come down

They also have a link between the IOM an UK systems for speeding convictions etc... Say good-bye to the TT then. Before it would never affect a tourist, as the IOM couldn't put penalties on your licence. How times change......

It's just a 50 zone from the hairpin to just after the Gooseneck. All the other limits are the same as every TT.

you reckon thats because of the second right hander after the hairpin...caught me the first time..lol
