face-icon-small-sad.gifface-icon-small-sad.gifI think I am going to have to sell the scoob. I will have owned it now for near on 2 years, and really do not want to part with it. But as child number 2 is about to be born at anytime, I think I need something a bit more practical!!face-icon-small-sad.gifface-icon-small-sad.gif

Don't know how much I want for it yet, but if anyone is interested, it is an MY98 WRX STI Type RA import. I have recently stuck a brand new STI engine in it, which I have the receipt for. Other extra's include an AP Racing clutch, Goodyear F1 tyres, adjustable STI spoiler, lexus rear lights (still have the original STI ones so they will go with it), morette front lights, strut brace, subwoofer and amp, good stereo, 16" Speedlines, bailey dump valve, and a very smart HKS induction kit. I also have a blitz turbo timer, still to be fitted, which will be included.

I have not had it on a rolling road, but this car is pretty fast.

If anyone wants to make an offer, feel free. I have private plates on it at the moment, but I got it with a 'P' plate, as that is what it was registered as when it came into the UK.

This is a very reluctant sale, which I have thought long and hard over, but family has to come first.

Sorry to hear that mate, but agree.... Possibly think about losing the Sub, I'd put up with poo sounds if it meant I could keep the Scoob!! face-icon-small-happy.gif

Out of interest, has it got the facelifted interior??

Cheers,

Grant

I would suggest you go for a four door family saloon which can take two child/baby seats in the back , and with enough boot space for the pram, changing bag, shopping etc........ take the sub out and youv'e got one M8. Ive got two weans and it is not a space issue.

The interior is black and grey. I would love to keep it, but between the insurance and the petrol, its quite expensive to run, and as we all know, kids aint cheap.

I wouldn't use a Subaru as an everyday family motor either, it'd break my heart.

The words "Daddy, I don't feel well" still send shivers down my spine and that vomit explosion was in my everyday focus, not the scoob.

I use my scoob as the every day car, and it is a 30 mile round trip to work, so you can imagine how much petrol that is a week.

Yeh i go through £50 of juice for the scoob every week. I cut down on the Don Revie, and insist that Mrs S buys Safeways savers beenz, and out of date mince !

These cars are like a drug.
