lessels Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 i bought a forge dump valve for my 99 classic from falkland and they were busy so couldnt fit it.the guy told me i could fit it myself easy enough and should take about 5 minutes(which it did) just wondering if i fitted it ok.i used the plastic gasket that come off my standard one is that ok?and iv noticed that it looks like its open all the time cos u can see a thin spring through the little holes on it(is it meant to be like that?)it sounds ok when driving.any input would be appreciated cheers!!
jcscoob Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 iv got a 99 to and i see the skinny little spring to i think its OK !! Enjoy

drb5 Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 That's fine Lessel's. It's a straight bolt off, bolt on job and if you've done that ok and made sure the pipes are back on ok, then it'll be perfect.
lessels Posted April 28, 2005 Author Posted April 28, 2005 cheers guys!i was a bit worried about seein that little spring, what about the plastic gasket that comes with the standard valve,do u need to use it(i did) i wasnt sure if it would restrict anything on the forge one?
