Gumball Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 aye the showcase is probably a good place to meet then! What time is best for us to meet up ? does it start at 10am? whos all going from the showcase?
Gumball Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 Matt We could meet you somewhere just after the forth bridge, just numbers and times needed.................
sti-zlv Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 I'm going over Kincardine bridge, then heading to Crail via Cooper its easiest for me. If you guys want to come this way we could meet at Kincardine Failing that I'll see you there Matt
Gumball Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 OK, WHY DONT WE MEET AT THE SHOWCASE........TRAVEL UP THE M80 OR WHATEVER AND MEET AT THE KINCY BRIDGE?
sti-zlv Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 Convoy over the bridge and onward to crail..........................sounds good Matt
Gumball Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 excuse me for questioning this military stylie operation, however could someone suggest a time to meet in showcase and the kincardine brigg?
sti-zlv Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 I now nothing, I'm just along for the ride Want to be there quite early so that those on the 1/4 mile can get some practice. Matt
Gumball Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 and you reckon 10am is the kickoff time? Why dont we say 0830 at showcase, 0915-0930 at the bridge? still not sure how many folk are going yet. glasgow wise anyhow 1. Chris P
2559B Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 McDonalds @ the forth road bridge is as good a place as any ( for me anyway!! ) ... say a 9.30-ish ?? anyone else up for this??? 1. 2559B
colin_ross Posted March 31, 2005 Posted March 31, 2005 Matt's right about leaving early if you're wanting to go on the strip. The queue starts to build real quick so the earlier you get there the more runs you'll be able to get in. Also the cooler it is, ie earlier, the more power you'll make. Might not be a big issue at this time of year tho but you can always hope. Leaving the showcase at 08.30 would be about right. If you're just going to spectate then its not as big a deal. Word of warning for anyone going for the first time - do not speed. There's always camera vans out in force. PS2.
