~ ~ Cal ~~ Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 I know the loch but not the fish That's a biggie ! Wonder what it tasted like I liked fishing when I was younger and really should try and get back into it.
zeolite Posted February 7, 2005 Author Posted February 7, 2005 cal..whereabouts is the loch? It had to be returned as it is out of season and the catcher was fishing for pike.
fraser_drinkwater Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 This looks like a ferox brown trout as the size is uncommon for wild brownies that are more common to highland streams. the bait that it took also helps to make that decision as they usually go for traditional flies. (a ferox trout is a canabalistic trout)
JohnSt Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 Ian, Bardowie is on the road between Torrance and Bearsden. NE of Glasgow. ---john---
