Lanyards Poll

What was the general opinion about these, and who wants one . The more people that want one the cheaper they'll be . At the moment the badges themselves will be £3 and the lanyards are £5.....these can be discounted on volume.

Big YES PLEASE response on these folks would be appreciated,Andy & Malky have done an excellent job on the name badges/lanyardsface-icon-small-cool.gif

The whole idea being to "break the ice" at meetings & events for newbies & shy members.

In the past,at meets/events,there seems to have been a barrier with the personal aproach & unless you had a Subaru jacket/t-shirt/cap etc on then nobody knew who was who & with what clubface-icon-small-confused.gif

Imagine  hypothetically turning up to Knockhill for your first meet & all you can see is a monkey wearing a Yawnda Type R jacketface-icon-small-tongue.gifface-icon-small-happy.gifface-icon-small-wink.gif

..............you're certainly not going to know that the monkey is in fact a member of the SIDC.

..........but if the monkey had a name badge on then you might just say hello my name is................

......then again you'd probably get put in a straightjacket & whisked away to the loonybin for talking to the monkey in the first placeface-icon-small-happy.gifface-icon-small-happy.gifface-icon-small-happy.gif

But seriously folks this is a great idea,PLEASE SUPPORT ITface-icon-small-happy.gif

They did invite us to their TRS run and we also have a good connection to Scottish Elises.

It would help EVERYONE as this is THE best idea around the difficulty of meeting/introducing/remembering people I have seen.
