Russs Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Anyone interested in a rolling road day in Scotland? State of the art dyno in Aberdeen. £30/car, minimum number 10 cars. Testimonials here; SIDC rolling road day and here; MLR rolling road day Have posted this on MLR too Looking at a mid March date, say Sat 19th? Flexible on dates though. Please list names if interested
GrantyBoy Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 If I miss the Dastek RR at the start of March then I will come to this one instead
wrxmania Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Maybe not ideal timing as there is already a Rolling Road Day at Dastek beginning of March. Many people already signed up for that... Brian
Carl Davey Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 I'm signed up for the one on March 12th as i'm getting remapped in the Central Belt anyway. I'd have been totally up for this Russ as i'd still be looking for a (further!!) comparison run on the WP rollers. However, it's the old offshore trick i'm afraid - away from the 15th March to the 29th. Anytime either side (and after the 12th) i'm there.
Chris_B Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Will be up for this if things don't come together in time for the other one.
Russs Posted May 5, 2005 Author Posted May 5, 2005 Saturday 14th May, 9am to 5pm open day. And Sunday 15th May Japanese Performance dyno day, 12 noon to 5pm. Wallace Performance, Bridge of Don, Aberdeen, are having an open weekend in conjunction with Japanese Performance magazine. State of the art 4wd rolling road will be open both days for power runs and demonstrations. Power runs will be at a reduced rate of £30 per car (normal £45). On the Sunday there will be a prize awarded for most power from a Jap car on road fuel. Jap performance are also looking for cars to feature, so anyone with a big power or interestingly modded car please try to come along - cars will be assessed and photo shoots will take place on Sunday afternoon and Monday. Anyone like to list their name to attend? However you can just turn up if you'd like to run. Absolutely no need to book or make a commitment now. We will be open for the weekend regardless of numbers of people appearing. Dyno runs will be on a first come first served basis.
