4Hero Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Who has the most powerful Scooby?? Certainly not me [] I really need to get into this stuff.. Sorry, but it is me [] 4hero - 960bhp (power to weight) 0-60mph 2.5sec and requires a torque drill []
paddy247 Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 I dont know so I cant tell you, But it will be in the 12s at crail now, and ready for the next modifications in a few weeks.
WUZ Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 As of 6 weeks ago ( Slight retune, porting work to the heads and so on...............) 413 BHP, 378 lb/ft ( confirmed by Star Performance and Dastek, both were within 11 bhp and 10lb/ft of each other so I took the average). Cal will confirm that it moves[] Russell
paddy247 Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 very good figures there wuz, I know of a classic to be apearing in the next cpl of weeks with similar power output to yours, well have to get them on the srtip for a shoot out.
Gumball Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Excellent figs Russell, nice result !!!! thats special. Also JD im glad you got good figures, thats a great result after the long wait !!! Im still 403/344 but im happy and will only be changing to FMIC shortly. the only other mods im doing are cosmetic
WUZ Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Sounds good to me! Shame is that my RA doesn't have the gearing for the strip and it'll need to use all 5 gears instead of UK ratios in which you could stay in 4th........that'll lose 0.5 of a second! Russell
st3ph3n Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Those are some mighty numbers Wuz. Is it a requirement to wear a neck brace or Hans device with such ridiculous power and short gearing?
paddy247 Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 I think it has to be about 310-320 bhp with the few mods i done over the winter, I will be happy with 350bhp this year and a similar torque fugure. car has never been on rollers but when the front mount goes on, its the first thing ill do.
bigdavie Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 guy i bought my car from had it rolling roaded @ 260 bhp and 258 lb ft got the print out !! not bad for a turbo 2000 eh ???? oh and how much power will i get from a fmic ?? and will i need to get it remapped afterwards ?? cheers !
johnnyr6 Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 Defo not mine, i'm only running about 300 bhp at the mo (last figures- 294bhp/248lbft) but now running more boost. But the one i'm helping build at the mo will be one of the quickest scoobs in scotland.
johnnyr6 Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 Defo not mine, it's only running about 300 at the mo. Andy F must be up there in the top 3. The scoob i'm helping build at the mo will also be one of the quickest scoobs in scotland.[]
wilky Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 Yes johnny it will be. Im looking forward to seeing it run. Should be awesome. Callum
johnnyr6 Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 hey Wilky, how's your running? saw at bills just before you got it back, it looks very impressive. Are you sorting the chassis out??
Johnny50 Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 Well it certainly wont be me... Never had this one on the rolling road, so anything more than the standard 215 will be a result. []
