wrxmania Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 "It already comes with an engine, I'm just improving it..." "It already came with wheels, I am just replacing them with 20" spinners..." Insurance company line would be, I am sure, "Great - glad it has improved... that'll be an additional premium of £83 please". Shocking - I may not declare a DV if I had one but I think some insurance companies are fussy about them Brian
Iaing Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 Cal if you want to hear mine, i'll easy take you for a burn and you can see what you think. Have never had any issues with my DV. You can hear it in the car but its fairly subtle and doesnt really get on my nerves. Iain
dougster Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 For a cheap option, take the resonator out from the inner wing (attatches to air box) I have ran a Baileys VTA, APS recirc (current) but my car with ITG panel filter, stnd airbox and with the resonator removed it sounded great!! The airbox came out eventually to be replaced by a larger Hyperflow (K&N cone) induction kit with a cold air feed.
