shrek Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 Got home from work in time, so will be able to come along. Will meet those meeting at the M2 services London bound around 7'ish.
granby Posted January 22, 2005 Posted January 22, 2005 OK OK was this anyone on here, passed a black with silver graphics scooby on the M20 London bound coming back from the KentScoobies meet (which i must say had a great turnout) and i was doing about 130mph and you came back passed me like i was standing still, had to back-off as they had been gritting the road and grit was being thrown up all over my car, went back passed you but never saw you again.
Pele Posted January 22, 2005 Author Posted January 22, 2005 Well it wasn't me I went home the scenic route Well it was a great turnout, thankyou all for coming, and welcome to two new members, Chantelle & Daz Did anyone count the cars? I also had a bit of a blast in a Subaru Vivio - what a wicked little car - 900cc & a supercharger just needed a few suspension tweeks and it would have been perfect Got some very 'WTF was that!?' looks when I was overtaking bigger cars - it's the size of a mini lol I want one! and it's only group 3 insurance so bonus

Chantelle Posted January 22, 2005 Posted January 22, 2005 I'd like to say a huge thankyou to Pele for all the introductions last night. It was nice to meet some of you, hopefully with a few more meets I might have the courage to speak to someone! Also thankyou to whoever has a son called Billy that we had to drag our son away from!
tony_cousins Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 Great meet, nice to see some new faces. Good to see so many people turn up on such a cold night, one of the best turnouts KentScoobies has had Nice to see Vic, hope to see him at a few more meets this year Cheers to Marten for the lift (and for putting up with Victoria's constant talking ) Thanks to Pete for letting me drive Rocket - hope I didn't scare your friend too much - next time tell him to wear a seatbelt lol Arron & j-k, shame you couldn't make it, hope to see you at the next one See you all at the next meet Tony
HOL Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 Nice to see everyone Friday night. Also very nice to see Chantelle and Matt (Mr Chantelle ) as well. Maybe Matt will bring his Supra next time? You may have seen it at every TOTB, so its no 'lightweight'. Did we sort out what we would be doing for events this year?, I completely forgot about it
The Guru Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 Hi all, hope you all had a good meet, sorry I could'nt make this one, should be up for the next though. Pele, I here you had an interesting moment in another RED SCOOBY, OH WELL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL LOL LOL. Arron.
Pele Posted January 24, 2005 Author Posted January 24, 2005 Arron, considering the Vivio had suspension like a marshmallow and I was following a scooby along roads I didn't know I think I did well to keep it on the road - 90 right uphill and I didn't know it was there until I was right on top of it we went sideways up the hill
The Guru Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 Pele, As your post says ANYONE CAN DRIVE FAST IN A STRAIGHT LINE. LOLS. I bet Vic's face was a picture. Arron.
Pele Posted January 24, 2005 Author Posted January 24, 2005 << I bet Vic's face was a picture. Arron. >> Sure was lol - I did ask him if he wanted to go back, but he was very brave and told me to carry on As for driving in straight lines, I seem to prefer sideways at the moment lol
The Guru Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 You prefer sideways at the mo, I think we'll leave it there shall we ! Arron.
The Guru Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 Pele, I WAS NOT BEING RUDE ! I was refering to your post ( Anyone can drive fast in a straight line ), You must have a thing with red scoobies. Arron.
Pele Posted January 25, 2005 Author Posted January 25, 2005 it was misinterpereted (sp) lol - I like red
tony_cousins Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 Now now children We can all drive and we all do it well so wheres the problem ??? Lol going sideways is the new straight though See you at the next meet Tony
