wilky Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 Goodevening Folks, Im looking for a bit of advice here. Installing a GM 3 BAR MAP sensor, got the correct plug, but unsure of wiring could someone explain the correct wiring for the GM 3 pin plug. Secondly Im running a Possumlink ECU, Will I have to adjust the ecu before I fire the car up, or will the ecu recognise the 3 bar sensor itself. Cheers Callum W
the squiggle Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 The LINK ecu should be ok with the MAP sensor upgrade. It will be the same type of signal as the OE only it will have a different top end perameters. Just dont exceed the boost target the Link ecu was mapped for as the ecu map will not have a corresponding reference point to aim for Grant
wilky Posted January 4, 2005 Author Posted January 4, 2005 Roger, have that big chap! What about wiring the plug for the sensor? Callum
the squiggle Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 If its the MAP sensor from the later cars then Coulty has the wiring diagram to fit a later year MAP sensor on to an early year car. PM him and i think he would be nice enough to email the wiring diagram back to you. Grant
