how is the best person to see about gettin my ECU remapped? i stay in east lothian and if there is any one in that area how can do it let me know how. cheers

this depends on what year of car you have.

if you are pre (i think ) 99 then you can only do it by fitting a piggyback chip or a complete ecu replacement.

im going down the same road as you at the moment. im waiting for a eprom for my car which does roughly the same job. ive got a JDM 95 and was well keen to get a Apexi fc commander installed (which andy is renowned for mapping) but this cost about £700 which is a wee bit above what i could spend.

as the good man callum has said andy forest is well regarded and nearby, and im just up the road in ormiston (not that i could map you car of course)

so like most things cost is the issue.

ill let you know how i get on when my chips installed as it was only about £100
