neo2742 Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 whats everyone's opnion of them in the wet, coz i have had mine for over 3 months now and think that they are a bit crap in the wet opinions please cheers in advance Mickey
dougster Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 I have always liked the Proxes, but I do lower the pressures a little for wet weather driving.
rallye6 Posted November 25, 2004 Posted November 25, 2004 I agree with dougster, a excellent tyre dry and wet, had them on my 306 rallye and now on my uk300 with no problems brian
neo2742 Posted November 25, 2004 Author Posted November 25, 2004 well its weird for me just going round the same corners at say 40mph as i do in the dry it alll feels alot more unstable, all i have is T1-S on 17" with standard suspension, oh and the car is my95 WRX import! any ideas or am i just being a bit pussy? cheers Mickey
sKunk Posted November 26, 2004 Posted November 26, 2004 Get your geometry checked out mate. The best tyres in the world will handle like crap if your wheels are all pointing in diifferent directions

Had toyo's, Falkens and Goodyear F1g on mine and I have to say that Toyo and Goodyear are very good in both wet and dry , F1's taking it in the wet. I felt that initial turn in felt vague with the Toyo but was certainly stable enough. Spooks
neo2742 Posted November 28, 2004 Author Posted November 28, 2004 cheers for the replys guys, i agree with skunk that the geometry etc probably needs updating it also feels unstable on the straights in the dry at 90mph - geometry related? and thats motorway driving! cheers in advance Mickey
nee-naw Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 I find with my proxies I get a bit more understeer in the wet than I should, but that might just be me.
